What's the Deal with Aeroplane Food

Mid Division hasn’t even had its first official game yet, and Pleb Division has already experienced its first drama. The discord is alive and buzzing with as much activity as when a Money Talks fixture is on. This increase in activity shows one thing; Kobold League continues to grow, this season more than most as the league has hit almost 200 members (1 less after the latest drama OmegaLUL). Within this increased number of players there are many familiar faces - grizzled veterans of many seasons of Kobold. They may change teams, change divisions, even change roles, but they remain the same. They know the deal with Kobold, they know eachother and they know what the deal with aeroplane food is. (aeroplane food in this analogy means Kobold League).

With such an influx in new players, many new faces are joining that don’t know the deal with Aeroplane food(Kobold League).

So as a seasoned veteran of Aeroplane food, let me drop the deets about this stale reheated croissant with a bottle of Evian spring water.

Kobold league is done for fun, especially the pleb and mid divisions. This seems to surprise many players coming from other leagues that are maybe more competitive-focused. Kobold is competitive, but it is also aimed at inclusivity, community and entertainment.

All-chat, Tipping, Voicelining are allowed in Kobold league matches (within reason). We appreciate other leagues do not allow these, but in Kobold a sense of community is important. And what builds a bit of community better than some friendly flame. Just please don’t do a MattyJ.

Don’t be toxic, it really aint that hard fellas. Over the past four seasons there has been a very positive relationship between all teams, with very little toxicity. We believe in keeping it fun and wholesome.

Of course if you think an opposition player has taken it too far in aggressive all-chat or toxicity, do let the mods know.

Over the four seasons of Kobold that I have played in, I have had an excellent time. I have met many great and lovely people (and also Money Talks) and made friends with many of them. I know many of the captains and players from previous seasons and it’s always nice to play with and against friends. Hopefully the new folks that have joined this season will feel as included and as part of the community as I have.

And please, no smurfing or enabling smurfs.

Thanks for reading this entirely human-generated blog post. Good Luck and Have Fun in Season V.
